Sally Smith Positive Behaviour Support is committed to ensuring that all people, regardless of ability, can access my services and website. I believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, and supported. This commitment extends to both my physical service delivery and digital presence.
Website Accessibility
I strive to make this website accessible and user-friendly for all visitors. My website includes:

- Telehealth Options: Virtual appointments via phone or video call for those who prefer remote support
- Communication Methods: Email, phone, SMS, or video calls based on your preference
- Document Formats: Information provided in accessible formats (large print, digital, audio, Easy Read upon request)
- Interpreter Services: Support for accessing professional interpreters if needed
- Support Persons: You're welcome to have a support person, advocate, or family member present at meetings
Communication Support
I respect that everyone communicates differently and am committed to:
- Using plain language and avoiding jargon
- Speaking clearly and at an appropriate pace
- Allowing extra time for conversations if needed
- Using visual aids, diagrams, or written information to support understanding
- Respecting alternative communication methods (AAC devices, sign language, etc.)
- Being patient and ensuring you feel heard and understood
Physical Access
When meeting in person, I will work with you to ensure venues are physically accessible, including wheelchair access, accessible parking, and accessible facilities. If you have specific access requirements, please let me know in advance so I can make appropriate arrangements.
Cultural Inclusivity
I am committed to providing culturally safe and responsive services. I respect and value diversity in all its forms, including cultural background, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, and religion. I will work collaboratively with you to ensure services are delivered in a culturally appropriate manner and can assist in connecting you with culturally specific supports if needed.
NDIS Practice Standards
As a registered NDIS provider, I comply with the NDIS Practice Standards, which require me to ensure that services are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to your individual needs, preferences, and goals. This includes upholding your rights to dignity, respect, choice, and control.
